Ah, Archive.org one of the pillars of knowledge sharing on the Net (even if it isn't as popular as Wikipedia... or at least that's my impression on that )
If you ever found something you might find useful or fun on archive.org, share the wealth here!
Lately I'm more focused on the "library" aspect of Archive.org. Here's some digital books I'm currently borrowing or wish to check out in the future:
- Creating Great Web Graphics - I think I got to know this one through these very forums! It's a guide from 1996 to create cool-looking, quick-loading assorted graphics with tools such as Photoshop and Photopaint. If the digital scrapbooking of using pre-existing graphics doesn't cut it for your site, I think this book could interest you to recreate that beloved 90's web look
- The Animator's Sketchbook - Everybody who likes making animation knows Richard William's Animator's Survival Kit is like, the Bible of animation - however, I really like this book's more practical approach, complete with blank pages to try things out yourself. I want to work on this during summer, on traditional paper, no less
- Anybody Can Write- A book about writing I am currently borrowing (so you'll have to wait until I'm done, sorry about that
). I want to get better at storytelling and frankly, I don't know how this link got to my hands (or eyes ) but so far I'm enjoying it! The start of the book is less about actual writing structures or tips and more about being aware of thoughts about writing and habits that bring you down. For those who like a little bit of self-introspection like me Can also be applied to other art forms
Now it's your turn! What's on your favourites or your pending list?

Browsing the Archive is one of the things I do when I'm bored, lol. Here are some of my finds: * Essential Keygen Music - Cool chiptunes! I have this on my phone and listen to it frequently. * Clickart 125,000 - More clipart than you'll ever need! * The Voynich Manuscript - A very old manuscript filled with strange illustrations and an unknown language. No one has yet been able to decipher it. * Classic Computer Papercrafts - Build paper versions of old PCs! * Gamespot Gamefaqs archive - Pulled by a DataHoarder member, this is an archive of game FAQs from Gamespot. They're still up as far as I know, but they're being increasingly neglected, so archivists have been starting efforts to preserve them before they go down. For some obscure games, this is the only site that has any info on them. * AOL Instant Messenger sounds - Ooooooo yeah! * Gemini shortwave radio music broadcasts - An archive of music and programs that were played by NASA for the astronauts on the Gemini VII/VI-A mission.
