Hey I do needle felting too!!

Blinky is so cute - and the gnomes on that sweater are lovely! For my last birthday I was given a needle felting kit with instructions for the ugliest monsters ever XD I didn't want those in my home, so I decided to make nature themed things instead! I have made mushrooms(complete with some moss and dirt still attached to the root), a fox wearing a scarf, a frog with an orange parachute for my partner who loves frogs and the colour orange, a penguin, a little ninja for my friend, an easter rabbit with a vest, a gnome for my "aunt" to wear pinned to her scrubs at work for christmas(technically not related but my mums best friend and basically an aunt). Currently I am trying to make Marcus the worm for at least one, but hopefully I have time to complete two, for my friends who love the character

I use those little crafting pipe cleaners, in various colours to attach the wool to, when I make stuff like the rabbit, gnome and Marcus, as I want the arms and legs to be long, sturdy and bendable! The fluff on the pipe cleaner is great for attaching the wool easier than just wire, which I have also seen used, I also would like to make birds, snails, and other nature themed creatures and things!!
I have a couple projects I want to complete before christmas, but after than I really want to re-learn knitting!! I have a bunch of unused yarn, and I have a bunch of ill.fitting sweaters from the womens' section I want to unwind the yarn of, and re-use! Sure , I could give them to the thrift store where they might get sold but more likely get shipped off to some far off beach :( but I'd rather guarantee a good use here!! A gnome sweater is such a great idea, I adore gnomes in folklore. We call them tomtar here in Sweden, we have house gnomes, forest gnomes, etc! It's an old tradition to leave out porridge for the house/farm gnomes to ecouragr them to help out around the home!
I might post photos of them later
