eye opening video.. sad, TDT explains some shifty stuff about AI taking over YouTube, clone channels, ai generated creator comments, ai telling creators what to make a video on next, I think he could be right about YouTube being an AI wasteland I n the near future.

We need a video hosting platform that does not allow AI.. anything like that exist yet or in the works maybe?

I had a similar issue where my youtube video on youtube alternatives got popular to the point of getting a bunch of bot comments I never wanted. I had to pause the comment section because they kept coming in swarms.

I had already written a topic about cheap video hosting before, so I think the solution would either be to make a website for your videos to host either on another website, a CDN or a server, or use another video sharing site as a secondary place such as Vanillo or a PeerTube instance.

I tried seeing if there were peertube instances with rules against ai usage and found this. It says "Content created by others must be attributed, and use of AI must be disclosed. Profiles that only post AI-generated content will not be tolerated." which isn't completely against AI but it's a start.

Being able to include AI-generated content is useful if, for example, you're talking about AI-generated content. You can't do a compelling video essay about how icky GenAI videos are without showing your audience examples of the problems you're talking about.

I agree that their statement doesn't quite go far enough, but I'd like to assume that their hearts are in the right place.

Yeah, for sure. That's why I said it's a start, since it does show they care about AI being used to rip off others' content/art. Granted, you are right that allowing some uses of AI can be useful for showing why it's bad.
