A moth I really like is the african peach moth because just look at it!!!! so small!!! so colorful and cute!!!!! (picture is from internet) I wanted to make an OC based on it


Also I'd like to share my Moth Story: A while ago I was having lunch with my family when a Very Very Big moth (I couldn't tell which species) came into the room. It looked soooo pretty but everyone else was terrified especially my mom. The moth then landed in my mom's back so she started screaming and spinning to take it off of her lolll (come on it was probably more scared of you than you of it  )but we managed to take it outside without harming it yay!! Sadly I didn't take any pictures of it

I thought this thread was gone and buried and did'n't think to check it.. so glad to see people posting all these cool bugs!! Love them all. As it's winter I don't have any recent finds IRL, at the moment.. something to look forwards to this spring! I should find some more neat bugs online to post.

It is winter and I miss my bug friends. To tide us over, I shall offer... this long-tailed giant ichneumon wasp. It landed on the outter wall of my house a few years ago, right by my back door. I'd never seen one before, nor have I since, unfortunately.
