I took a gross image from a band I like, and made it shake violently. I then said it was "my boyfriend" and he got angry when approached by someone that wasn't me lol

There is a background to this that's longer, but in short, during an unsuccessful gamejam in 2020 (the week before the world ended) where no one wanted to make a game with me, I called some friends at midnight, they came over to the hall, and what started as a fairly tame idea got more and more out of hand until we had an amorphous motel sex simulator/commentary on life.

Everyone else at the jam was scared of us and we came last despite trying to rig the vote by voting for ourselves at least 10 times each; but I think we had the most fun of anyone there

Oh my god so many choices! I'm torn between... four things:

• Axe Feather 2021 - so back in 2004 there was this viral Flash advertisement for "Axe" brand deodorant (I think it's the same as what we call "Lynx" on this side of the pond). In it you used a feather to tickle a woman lying on a bed. The ad's site got abandoned in 2009 and Flash started dying a death from 2010 onwards, and the way in which the ad had been implemented meant that it couldn't be easily or automatically converted to modern formats without the original source files. So in 2021 I reverse-engineered and re-implemented it from scratch; I wrote a blog post about how I did so.
  
  Why is it absurd? It took an insane amount of work and for what? To re-create an advertisement? Who does something like that?

• Change Your Star Sign - in some ways it's almost a parody of my much-more-useful and important service Free Deed Poll, but yeah: it's a website I made that will provide you with a certificate to show that you've adopted a new star sign in place of the one you were assigned at birth. It exists partially to poke fun at people to take astrology too seriously, but mostly in support of self-identification in all things that ought to be considered "personal": name, gender, sexuality, religion... star sign! Be who you are!
  
  Why is it absurd? Its very existence undermines the legitimacy of my Free Deed Poll service. Also it's a site nobody asked for and nobody needs.

• EGXChange - as a protest against cryptocurrencies, Wayne Myers came up with a neocoin called EmmaGoldCoin, which has no environmental impact, is completely secure, and is 100% equitable to everybody on Earth... because everybody starts with 1 EGX and to receive any amount of EGX you must pay a transaction fee of the same amount to the person who sent it to you... which means nothing changes, therefore there's nothing to track, therefore there's no need for a blockchain, ledger, or even any network traffic! Anyway: I implemented it in JavaScript. You can send and receive money from a local-only, offline-first wallet and it'll keep track of what you send/received, but your balance never changes.
  
  Why is it absurd? It's a technical implementation of a specification that explicitly does not require technology, just to protest proof-of-work cryptocurrencies.

• DNDle - it's a Wordle clone where you have to guess the Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition monster by guessing its STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS and CHA characteristics. In "hard mode" you have to guess an actual monster; in regular mode you're allowed to guess characteristic values that don't necessarily match any "real" monster.
  
  Why is it absurd? It was supposed to be a stupid throwaway gag, but it has people who play it every single day so now I'm stuck renewing the domain for the rest of time (or until the New York Times offers to buy it off me, which they never will).

i used to be part of this horrible Thing called "the wiki camp 2" (the original wiki camp was on fandom) which was a sort of series of contests about making the best wiki page to fit a specific criteria. outside of contests everyone had TOTAL FREE REIGN on the wiki itself, which happened to have a css plugin added, and it literally defies words if you look it up for yourself. i cant remember what all exactly i contributed but i think the most insane one was a transcript of ytp sexer (VULGAR JOKE WARNING) that had to be heavily edited to fit the rules of the wiki. I named it "YTP Lover". here it is

the wiki camp is still thriving though i havent touched it myself in years. i told a friend to inform everyone i was throwing breadcrumbs at them all from heaven like pigeons
