Part 2 of my serialized noir, The Textbook Case

I just published the second part of a short serial I'm working on.  The arc itself is now half-done; by the time the fourth is finished, the previous parts may have changed a bit.  Not enough to impact the story, I just tend to reread my own stuff and reword things from time-to-time.  However, after the fourth part, I'm calling it done.
