Hello fellow netizens!  :pc:

I'm autistic. I want to read/see other disabled folks' websites, but it's hard to find them, despite my huge collection of indie web directories. It's a lil' depressing to be honest. I'd really like to connect with disabled community.

Do you have recommendations? Maybe you are disabled and can share your website!

So far I periodically read Robert Kingett. Also I know Emily Moran Barwick, Virgil Eaton, Jeppe Nymand,Blake Watson, and Tulip although I don't keep on top of their updates these days (but maybe I will once I get back to web feeds? Who knows).

hello! i'm also autistic, among other things... but admittedly, all of my websites are quite out of date lol. i have my nice fancy portfolio, my personal neocities, and my neocities for my songwriting, and i'd LOVE to get back to them someday, but... alas... i'm a little site-blocked right now haha.

disability has really become somethin of a niche for me--i've enjoyed writing about it a lot! but i'm not sure how to go about bringing that to my websites. i've been doing little micro-rants and thinkpieces on social media about disability and art and my lived experience. maybe i could make something of a blog one of these days... i think i'd be a halfway decent blogger...

Heyo, I'm multiply disabled. I don't have a lot of stuff on my website about it yet though. My disabilities are listed in my bio page, and they'll definitely come up more as I add more cooking recipes, create my language learning methodology archive, and someday create my Queer ASL shrine. I can't say when any of that will be though -- I work on my website as the mood strikes me.

Hiyo, I kinda forgot about this account for a while until a Robert Kingett told me about this thread. He recommends the Disability Debrief as a place where several disabled people write about their experiences.

Meanwhile I might as well plug my own website, which is by a disabled person (myself) although I don't often talk about disability (I did pen Low Spoons Day, which I think is my one disability-related post). It's at The Weekly Miscellaneous.

EDIT: note to self, read the messages fully, I recommended Robert Kingett but you already mentioned him :D

I have (diagnosed) Autism and ADHD, I had a pretty rough childhood being mocked and misunderstood by people, the internet and video games have always been kind of an escape from the cruel world. In 2022 I made a personal site, about something I was hyperfixated on at the time, the Kirby franchise. Since then I've added a lot of other things, most recently a page on how to create and take care of terrariums (ecosystems in bottles). If you want to check it out, here's the link to it: https://daniele63.com/

thanks for the recommendations! i'm interested in reading about disability from fellow disabled people, too... it feels kinda less isolating.

who i read sometimes: ava and Rosaria Delacroix.

i am myself AuDHDer and CPTSDer, and sometimes i write about it. not analytical pieces... just about my experiences. i also plan to revive my mental health section with personal recs and resources. :ozwomp:
