y'all how do I fix my broken janky layout

The column is fucked and it supposed to be up there on the left like the right one is. I asked on reddit and the person helping me was just super rude and so I haven't really tried to fix it since then. Like idk should I just leave it atp? I made this using sadgrls layout maker if that helps with this, plz dont berate my shitty code this time lol   my website.

Ah, very simple fix!

In your page, the aside with the ID of #leftSidebar is outside the div with the ID of #flex - place the aside element inside there and that will fix it.

Like clockwork, I hate reddit and I think most people do at this point since it's practically become a meme to make fun of redditors.

Anyway, the reason it does that is because the main area is a div and divs are blocks, so they kind of align vertically. You can fix this by moving it into the div, so it's not bothered by it anymore, by using spans or by defining in their css "inline-block", but you are using flex too, which I'm not familiar with so I'm not sure if it'll work.

Alternatively, sidebars typically use the "position" keyword, for example "position:fixed;" ensures that your sidebars are always visible on the webpage.
