What if the internet was gone tomorrow? + The situation in my country

Shit, that's incredibly interesting to hear! You got a log for your journey that we might be able to see?

No but i should. Now that you mention it, i'll start writing something now. It'll be in my site's RSS feed if i forget to tell you here. And if you want specific resources i can try to re-find the links i learned from.

Edit: Here it is. https://anveozo.net/written/meshcore

I'll be on the lookout then, thank you  Feel free to drop those links in here too in case someone else might be interested as well! I'm gonna take a look around at your site, too

Edit: Thank you so much! Bookmarked at the speed of light.

The same situation in Russia, unfortunately. I’m using a VPN right now, though I don’t know how long this whole mess will last... And even in situations like this, I don’t want to get caught up in politics, because it used to eat me up from the inside.......

I can’t even buy anything from foreign websites, unfortunately… Especially on Neocities, where I wanted to buy a Supporter subscription.

Even though the situation is sad, I’ll keep hoping for the best, that someday all of this will end. Personally, I, if you know what I mean, “buy” movies from a certain site and transfer them to my hard drives so I can watch them locally rather than online. I’d definitely recommend doing the same.

I have some close russian friends and also found similarities in our situation. Coming to realize that it's not only certain countries, but it'll most likely happen anywhere in the world. It's a pain in the ass, but the future is in local files and in real life connections! Don't look into politics if they just make you ill. Do it when you're in the right mindset and you have a plan in mind to make a change.
