Hourly Comics Day 2023!

Today was Hourly Comics Day!

It's a day where you make one comic every hour you're awake for a whole day! I had to cheat a little bit since I had a shift at work, but I managed to finish!

This is totally charming! And wow a comic every hour sounds rough.. it would take me an hour just to do one strip!

I particularly like 12:00 - Shoes! - Hopefully the Blundstones have their day!

A two hour breakfast allocation sounds very sensible

These are all so nice! I agree with Melooon, though, I take far too long to draw out comics, so I admire your speed on this! You managed to complete a huge number and still they look great

What do you use to draw these, are they done digitally?

That's my favourite of the bunch too! The Blundstones are my daily shoe, I wear them year round. Maybe that makes me take them for granted, since they're not as "special" as my fancy leather heels ^^;

Yep, digitally on Clip Studio Paint! Previously I've done my hourly comics traditionally in a sketchbook (you can see my 2019 hourlies here: https://twitter.com/WodaroArt/status/1091494616535388161), but I wanted to try doing them digitally this year! It let me make them a little bit quicker, but I do also love the traditional ink sketch look. Not sure which option I'll go for next year!

Those are great too! I also like the ink sketch look, but I've found that the digital look has grown on me. I have a few art programs on my phone that I should use more often, and I love that we can have unlimited color and canvas options whenever we are these days.
