Understanding Taxes Teen Drama

Does anyone else know of this weird, late 80s-early 90s teen drama that was made to explain American taxes? Or like even know what it is called?
My Economics teacher showed part of it to my class, and he got it from a DVD copy of a VHS copy of an original VHS from the previous Economics teacher.
3/4 main characters were Travis McClaren, Kyle Sung, & Nina (forgot her last name). I think the other one was Allie? Unsure.
Also, apparently Nina ends up in a severe vehicular accident? wild.
