I've been reading about mythology, and lately I've found some cool sites with interesting designs. I figured I'd dump them here.

Obscure Goddess Online Dictionary

Odyssey Online - can't browse some parts of the site because they used Flash :ohdear: but still figured I'd share

Etruscan Gods

Theoi - this one is a classic, in case you don't already know about it!

Ancient Egypt: The Mythology

Native American myths

Please share any more neat mythology sites you find! All sorts of mythology are very welcome!!!

Mythopedia has resources on all types of mythology organized in an interesting visual way :D :seal:
Percy Jackson's Greek Gods is honestly one of my favorite books on the Greek gods. everything is presented in a comedic and casual way which makes it more fun to learn about the god's dynamic (note- the link sends to a PDF document of the book. if you'd like to buy it, go here)
apparently, Connecticut is in support of learning about ancient mythology!! here's their edu website! :ok:

Obscure Goddess Online Dictionary

Thank you for sharing all of these, I love this link especially! The first random name I clicked on lead me to learn about Laverna / Furina, goddess of Thieves! So cool. Now I know who to nod to before I steal from the supermarket.

Digital Florentine Codex is, well a digitized version of the Florentine Codex. Very good source on Aztec culture and mythology. You can search both the text and pictures. A lot of good info hidden in plain sight here, but remember to keep your post conquest of Mexico source grain of salt ready.

Such awesome finds, everybody! These are incredible links, thank you for sharing!

Love this! Never heard of the Florentine Codex before, quite fascinating. It is so cool to see Aztec culture portrayed in the typical European manuscript style.  I love the bird doodles.

Hey, this is amazing! While we're on the topic of that, is it okay to ask here for more websites with historical illustrations from different cultures? And information, of course!  :seal: Would be great for researching historically accurate elements for weapons, costumes, music, themes, buildings, and so much more. I think my humble Mexicolore link is one of them, but I'd love to see more  :dive:
