Cohost's posts (what a tongue twister) allow for inline CSS to be used together with HTML and some Markdown. A separate <style> or external stylesheet is not allowed.
Some users use these limited opportunities to make their posts stand out via thhis inline CSS, and even testing the bounds of what is possible.
These posts have been humorously dubbed "CSS crimes" as many of these were not originally intended to be postable like that. Some also broke the site, but most have been fun little mini games.

Notable examples are this Choose-Your-Own-Adventure/Disco Elysium-esque post, a gameboy, this post where you can click the blanks in the tweet to get random words which make the tweet hilarious, or this pixel art made entirely within the browser, and this tower of hanoi game. Here's a silly one too.

I would love to see your CSS crimes on Cohost.

I've made a little crime as a sort of chat-looking pinned introductory post.

It looked bad as a gif, so here's just the static image as a preview or if the link doesn't work.

Good resources that helped me:
css crimes 1 and 2 by lexyeevee (especially good for css beginners, but also good as a refresher and for some cohost-specific behaviors and limits)

View Source userscript to see the code of a post more easily

Odo was just an idea. Shevek is the proof.
