I've been really surprised by how much I have liked the rap my friends have shown me.

I love folk punk. My personal favorites are Apes of the State, Sister Wife Sex Strike, and Larry And His Flask. A friend of mind recently expressed interest in making some folk punk, and another one started learning accordion, so hopefully that plays out!!

I've been mostly interested in vaporwave lately. Randy Moon's video on the history of Vaporwave threw me back into interest with the slower, more ambient side of the genre. I used to listen to desert sand feels warm at night during busy days at my warehouse job. It worked wonders for my mental state back then, and I'm finding myself in similar headspaces now.

I recently bought the entire Geometeic Lullaby discography. This has been my favorite album so far, but i was also very into "you still feel them out there dont you"

I also ended up getting a cassette of  2814's Birth of a New Day that i throw on every time i cook or clean.

I'm finding myself just completely entranced by the more ambient side of vaporwave, especially when I'm staying up late for some alone time.

Though I love Geometric Lullaby's stuff too and have a good bit of it. At first with the discography purchase, I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew, and avoided diving into to it for a while, but eventually I relented and found soooo many albums I loved. It was a great purchase!

Desert Sands' stuff is soooo good, I also love Cat Corp and b e g o t t e n, also on Geometric Lullaby.
