Hi hello everyone, it's nice to be here!

I'm kathleen / windit, I'm in Aotearoa (New Zealand), she/her, 30s,

newly re-discovering the indie web after being pretty offline and completely off social media since pre-Covid, so it's nice to have found a space like this. I'm a filmmaker by trade but am also trying to completely leave the film industry, so I'm exploring other artforms and avenues of expression, like web building! I also make and distribute zines - I help run a zinefest here and am part of an Anarchist bookstore.

The house I live in at the moment (with a bunch of queers and the world's cutest puppy, Sunny) can't get cellphone reception, so we just got a landline phone connected yesterday. It's prompted an accidental old-tech revival; we also just set up a B+W laser printer and I'm currently working to break my Nintendo 2DS. I don't use a smart phone and it's getting harder and harder to exist in society without one, but it's nice to remember that all the old technologies Still Exist and we can breathe life back into them.

SO that's the buzz I'm on at the moment. I made a geocities shrine to Final Fantasy games Back In My Youth but haven't touched html in a longggg time, so will be taking inspiration and tips from all of you.

Hi there! 
I'm Choko, a somewhat hobbyist gamedev (ignore that it's been 5 years since I put anything out) that been getting into personal website building.
I mainly learned of this place because of a friend who has an account. Which made me think to give it a try as it might be a nice place to help me be more social bc I'm pretty shy and normally keep to myself

Very much a newbie at coding (semi know html, css, and python kinda), my whole neocities is one big wip as any work I've done I haven't pushed it to the public site yet but I swear I'll make it look better soon...

Besides webdev I'm really interested in rhythm games, writing about my characters, ttrpgs, vocal-synths (MEIKOOOOOOO ), and drawing.
