helloooo melonland :-) i would love to hear about the webpages that make you feel peaceful and relaxed.

two pages that i visit often are stream of streams and a quiet walk. i'm most calm and comfortable when i'm outside, and these pages help to remind me of that tranquil outdoor feeling, even when i'm stuck inside on a long stressful day.

do you have any calm pages on your own site? if not, i really recommend making one. or a few! the act of making the page can also be a source of relaxation. i made one page with videos i've taken of the sea and another that's a slow looping css animation set to a song that always cheers me up. after my links page, these two are probably the pages on my site that i visit the most often. when things feel overwhelming (online or off), they're like digital sanctuaries where i can go to rest and reset.

please share and discuss your favorite digital spaces to chill, on your own sites and elsewhere  :4u:

It feels redundant to mention on this forum but I find melonking.net to be exceptionally soothing.
I visit it when I need to destress pretty often :loved:

i made one page with videos i've taken of the sea

I wonder, what's the big lump of foam in thd first video? Last time I checked the sea wasn't supposed to do that :|

Anyways, a page that relaxes me is excalidraw.com because I like drawing.

i don't think it's redundant to say. Melon's site deserves appreciation just as much as any other!
are there any pages you find especially peaceful? i always feel relaxed by a visit to crow island. i love the colors of the grass and sea, and the way the clouds move.

what's the big lump of foam
that is sea foam! the wind and the waves churn up organic matter (mostly algae, usually) in the water to form bubbles. it was really windy that day, so lots of foam got made. it is normal! i like the way the wind wiggles it around.
