I've been looking for alternate communities to get away from the usual social media circles for a while so I joined this forum.

I am known variously as siph or ariz in different places. I go by they/them although any non-gendered pronouns work. I'm bi and Indian and I can speak/read English and Hindi. I'm still in high school.

Some of my hobbies are:

• writing
• coding
• opening and salvaging machines
• reading
• trying to learn makeup currently
• one billion krillion dead hobbies because adhd is like that

haaii welcome!!! i hope you'll enjoy your time here! it's really neat that you know how to get hands-on with machines and technology - is there anything that you've managed to fix lately? and/or do you have a favorite type of device you like to salvage?

i also checked out your site, the pixel art in it is really cute! i'm also a huge sucker for any kind of theming that involves stars, and i love the suletta cursor you made! i have a custom one as well of a character from the game zeno (sucks that i can't take a screenshot), and i agree that they're great!

thanks for the kind words Rigel. I'm still pretty new to pixel art (a little over a week at this point) so it means a lot to have some affirmation.

I haven't fixed much recently except for household stuff, nowadays my interest in electronics is kind of waning (billion dead hobbies problem), but I try to maintain some level of prowess. I like salvaging stuff that doesn't have one centralized chip for everything. You can get nothing out of those. I am considering getting into circuit bending someday though so if I find a really cheap electronic instrument I might give it a shot.

Also i really dig the aesthetic of your site, it's cute (im curious, did you incorporate the pan flag into it on purpose?). If you feel alright sharing your custom cursor I'd like to see it. I haven't played zeno yet but it piques my interest.

HEHE thank you!   it's actually funny you ask that because i never realized i was using pan flag colors until you pointed it out, plus i consider myself to be a part of the ace spectrum. as for my cursor, i figured out how to show a picture from my phone!



i got it from an artist who made it sharing their files on twitter back in 2022 when i was really deep into the game.... it might be somewhere in my bookmarks and i'm willing to search for the link if it's still up and if you'd like to see for yourself. i highly recommend the game too! granted the eng translation that's up is a little silly, it's enough to get through and understand mostly what happens. i would recommend using the playthrough guide if you plan on checking it out and completing the game entirely as some endings are harder to unlock
