Simple: i create copies of my home folder and put them unto my 1Tb external drive using BackInTime, scheduled to happen everyday at 12 am, i've also set it up to only hold 4 copies at a time to prevent it from overfilling the drive, i should probably start backing up my site too, never know if servers keep being up or not for you to access your files

i do something kinda similar except i just copy all the files from root into a 1tb harddrive bc my computer only has some 256gb total and also i only store 2 or 3 of em
