Hiya!!

You can call me tanuki.

I have been really interested in personalized web pages (like many of us on here). It is reminding me of creating websites as a kid to show off to my parents.

I never made anything super concrete but was hoping to do so now that I am older. I am also hoping to share my progress with all of you kind people on here!

That's a nice website you have ! Simple and efficient, I like it. I fed your Tamanotchi ! Judging by your page, you have good taste in anime, may I recommend you "SSSS.GRIDMAN" and "SSSS.DYNAZENON" ? It's two different animes but they're tied by one movie that happens after the two animes and is called "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE" it's pretty cool and made by Trigger. If you know/enjoy tokusatsu you'll have even more fun !

Welcome to MelonLand!! I feel like we have the same taste in 2000s video games, (esp MMOs). You mention Club Penguin and Neopets- did you play any others? I'm so curious which virtual worlds people spent the most time with. MMOs are still my comfort genre today 

Also your site is looking awesome! Its got all the essentials- it will be cool to see it grow!!

I love MMOs so much! From back at that time, I was pretty young so couldn't get many memberships or paid games. Some other Key ones that I remember are Toontown Online - That's the one I may have played second most to Club Penguin. For other Disney online games, my sister and I did play a little bit of the Pirates Online games and her a little more with the Pixie Hallow. I also played quite a bit of Wizard 101 (which I was surprised to hear is still ongoing, I will have to check it out) and Secret Builders!

For MMORPGs, RuneScape was my main squeeze. I still play it here and there, but haven't lately because it's not supported fully on Linux. I also played a good amount of World of Warcraft, but never got my own membership/account until Pandaria - before I would only play at my Cousins'. 

There were other brushes with games like Nicktropolis, Habbo Hotel, and many others I'm forgetting.


Please let me know which ones you had played in the past, I'm curious what I had missed out on!

This is such a solid list!! I also loved Runescape, Wizard101 for its combat system, + also played WoW on my cousin's acct when I was younger :) Less popular ones I put a lot of hours into were Wonder King (which was similar to Maplestory), and Spiral Knights. There was an MMO on Cartoon Network's website for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends I played when I was really young.. I could seriously go on about virtual worlds forever!! So many companies were willing to make online virtual worlds in the 00s/10s what a fun time to be a kid online.
