[Memory]

I know that deadplate has quite a large fandom on twitter , tiktok ect. I enjoy the plotline , plus the cute graphics. I've been part of the fandom for a while and I've gotten all endings yet I still replay it from time to time. It's enthralling and simple and as I stated before  the graphics are top notch. I love love love the dreams, it's a small detail but it's probably one of my favorite parts. Although I wish being the only waiter  was a bit less stressful .  If you've played deadplate , what are your thoughts on it? Any critiques?

This is the obligatory "didn't play it but did watch a let's play", I did like it ! I do have some "criticism" but I don't really consider them valid as it's really all related to my own personal tastes, and not what the creator really aimed to do, for what their goals were, I think they succeeded ! It's a fairly short but sweet experience (well, not really, but I couldn't find another way to say this), and honestly I liked the graphics enough it kinda inspired me

I did really like Rody as a main character, I found his loser ways charming as hell, but Vincent wasn't my cup of tea at all, I think maybe the story tries too hard with him ? But maybe it's the point, once again it's really my own personal opinion

I haven't checked out Rachel's other games, but I definitely should

Dead Plate is my latest special interest!! (Which makes me shudder with dread a bit, seeing it being associated with TikTok. Ew.) I've made a whole shrine for it (featuring original graphics, if you're interested~), and my brainrot also shows in my latest burst of art inspiration largely being in the form of Dead Plate fanart, lol. I also ordered the Rody plushie and I'm working on my very first video essay about the game.

I'm normal.

I will say, the game itself is quite glitchy, even though the story is excellent. Despite the creators saying that they know of the glitches, the studio has already begun work on their next game. For that reason, I honestly think that the ideal experience is honestly just watching a playthrough (although that wasn't my personal experience). But I'd advocate throwing the indie studio a few bucks if you're gonna do so.

I actually played it a while ago and I really liked it! I mean, I struggled with some of the gameplay and I got the bad end on my first playthrough, but that's probably my own damn fault since I've always struggled with diner games lol. I genuinely think a horror take on that genre is really creative and this was pretty neat execution-wise.
