Hello everyone , I am brand new to this lovely forum and very excited to see that this community exists. I am 30 years old, and my early preteens and adolescence were spent in large part on the Internet. I especially feel nostalgic over early 2000s Internet. Unfortunately I was too young to experience Internet in the 1990s.    However, I've been an old Internet enthusiast forever. I've browsed a few Neocities webpages in Melon Land, and I'm impressed and fully and pleasantly thrown back.

WELCOME NEW FRIEND    

I have personally found this place very friendly and fun. I have been lurking for ages but now have the courage and freetime to explosively (pew pew boom) post in short bursts. Someday I shall share my short stories which I promise are written in a different style than my coments! 

I've never yet seen such a positive, inviting, and active area on the internet. I  was considering cutting myself off from the internet entirley and only using the internet from a terminal based web browser until I found this website. Its a godsend and I'm very grateful.
