Status Cafe HTML themes?

I never did myspace HTML themes or tumblr HTML themes but I would watch my friend copy and paste themes and then edit them... I want to learn HTML eventually but have a lot on my plate right now. I was looking for something bitesized but every tutorial I found was starting from scratching a building a whole website 

Any tips or resources for making my status cafe theme in html?

Here's a popular guide to customizing status.cafe profiles from a post on their forums! It tweaks an existent post that had some HTML code to copy paste directly into your profile to add some additional features, and is super easy to use- the user commented the code too, so it's easy to see what does what.

Necroing this thread because a weird thing happened.

Thanks to yalls advice, I was able to set up a really cute theme for my status cafe!! However, today, the background image has just disappeared...? The URL for the bg image is a discord image link. I haven't touched the HTML at all. Do discord image links expire? If so, how long? Is google images a better way to get images?

Edit: If you go to my status cafe and see the image is still there, it's because I got a new discord link for it temporarily, but I'd still love to know a better solution, esp since I use discord image URLs for blinkies and stuff

Discord links are unstable, yes. It was rolled into an update some time ago- before people used to use it as a way to host images for webcomics and such, but now they expire / break. Can’t recall off the top of my head, but I think it was maybe a month from time of upload…? That may have changed with subsequent updates, but they do still break. If you have a personal website, I would suggest uploading your background image there, and linking to it instead. I organize my blinkies and background images into a folder on my site, and that works without fear of them randomly breaking.

I've really been enjoying status cafe and it's now a part of my daily life 
Quick question, how do you block people that post rancid shit LMFAO unless there's no way? And maybe I should change the name of this thread to make it a Status Cafe general thread?

I have no idea to be honest- I imagine perhaps something similar to how people make skins on Archive of Our Own to exclude certain authors from searches might work, but that’s a wild shot in the dark. I know what you mean though, I was disgusted to see a user posting about enjoying a known transphobe’s videos on there- especially unnerving considering the age demographics involved. Maybe worth asking on status.cafe’s forums, you’re more likely to get help from someone more acquainted with how the site runs on there.

And yeah, saw some stupid post about how someone hates a group of people  Gross! Not trying to see all that!
