it's so nice to meet you all, my name is elfy! i've just found out about the web revival movement and felt as if i've truly found home! i grew up toward the end of the old web era and barely had enough time to enjoy it before it all got streamlined with the birth of web 2.0. i discovered not longer ago i suffered from severe doomscrolling addition and it was starting to affect my mental health. since then, i've deleted tiktok and most other of my social media (besides tumblr and discord heh) i always felt trapped and uncomfortable with how often my life and data had been permeated with corpo crap, and now i've finally decided to do something about it! 

a bit aboot me!:
i'm a physical media collector with a major focus in obscure video games. i collect retro consoles, games, music, and films! my ps2 collection is my largest catalogue, but my fav console is the dreamcast! (blehg theyre all so expensive) i'm working hard to grow my tech collection! 

i love jrpgs, horror, fantasy, raves, anime, parapara, kandi making, and more! i would love to connect with anyone and everyone!

JRPGs used to be my favorite genre. I still like them but I don't have as much time for gaming so I pick more short term genres these days.

I have a box in my closet of Nintendo consoles that I would like to sell, the gamecube, the wii, and wii u. You think they're worth anything?

hai tysm!~ first and foremost, i recommend selling privately unless you absolutely have to (ex: need $$ fast). retro game stores tend to pay reduced rates and after working at both modern and retro game stores, they always pay unfair reduced rates.

you most valuable console you listed is your gamecube, but i suggest looking at pricecharting for the current asking prices. you might have trouble getting rid of your wii  as those are a dime a dozen rn lol- not many people are asking for wii us rn as they never rly did well, but if you find the right collector, you could get quite a bit depending on the model!

thanks for the advice! not really in a hurry to get rid of them. it's just they will sit in there in a box forever getting no use until I get rid of them.
