So I took a long break from web development, but am slowly trying to return to it. However I'm struggling to come up with layouts for my shrines. Any tips on how you guys come up w layout ideas? Thanks!

Im sure people will chime in with links and other info; but a really good starting point that I think a lot of people overlook is to simply observe the world around you.

For example if you're making a page about fish.. what is water like, what colors are water, how would text look in water, what sounds does water make etc.

If you are into a game like sonic.. what do sonic levels look like, what colors do they use? Could you make the pages scroll sideways like the games? Could you make links like rings placed across the page etc.

Often the most interesting layouts come from observing the world and trying to figure out if you can convert what you see into a website  :wizard:
