Hello,

Everytime someone tried to enter my site a file is instead being downloaded and they cannot enter my site.
I have no idea what is going on or why this could be happening.

Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks and regards,
N

It's strange behaviour if they're just trying to visit a regular html page, but a lot of browsers will default to downloading other file types if a user visits them (for example, going to a directory where a .zip is stored will immediately offer to download it for me, since my browser can't preview zip files).

I'm not having this issue upon visiting the homepage of the website in your profile (https://n-has-a-site.neocities.org/). I could try to help solve the issue if you can provide some more details:
-Is there a specific page/url they're trying to visit?
-What's the name and type of file being downloaded instead?
-Do you happen to know what browser they're using? Are there any extensions installed that may cause this issue?

Cheers :)

I 100% am having issues, what do you see? Anyway this seems like an issue you should send to neocities support ^^

Hello,
So the issue has know been solved.. somehow.
The visitors to my site no longer experience a file being downloaded but it was definetly weird. There was no specific page, just the n-has-a-site.org webpage. The file being downloded was usally just titled downloaded and it would fail so nothing was downloaded. The people acessing my site and experiencing this issue had different browsers.

Honestly I have no clue what happened.

But thank you all for your advice.
Regards,
N
