Hello everyone! 

     I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of this! I am officially unplugging from the algorithms and doom scrolling and instead putting my efforts towards things that give me joy. One of those things being old style internet outposts like MelonLand! Being able to step back from everything has been so helpful- I've actually started making digital art again. This profile pic here was something I started making when I was accepted into this site. And can I be honest? I've forgotten how hard it is to share your work. Like I spent daaays on something so silly and small; and as soon as I finished it, I started another sketch of a new profile pic that is way better! But I cant keep putting off this post, I want to actually be a part of this place.

     I do art stuff for work but I don't think I want to share it here? Its so nice not being connected to anything else online. How do ya'll handle this sort of things, are you fully connected to other accounts outside of MelonLand? Also how long have you been on this site! I feel like I know so little about this place now that I am finally able to sit down and really get a good look at everything.

Anyways, I'll be here! Always down to chat/meet new people/make new friends.

Hi house :).

Most of (and if one dives deep enough: all) my current work and most of my online life - apart from personal communication - is connected to the account I use here. I see no reason not to be connected to it, as I'm proud about it. But I can understand anybody who decides to do it in another way, as there are many factors involved. I'd - in the past - online identities that I wouldn't want to be linked to my current self.
