Hellooo!! - ❤︎ ∙ Greetings and Introductions

Hi there!! I apologize in advance if this ends up being really wordy, I tend to talk a lot when I talk about myself hehe ^^'

Anyways... helloo!! I'm Cicada, I use it/its pronouns mainly, and I'm new here!

I like music and art and horror and bugs/cats/snakes and clowns. Some of my favorite medias include The Magnus Archives, Rain World, Ultrakill, and The Thing 1982 :3

I'm both a traditional and digital artist, although most of the art I share online is digital these days. I enjoy experimenting and messing around with stuff, particularly color and textures, in my pieces. I also love seeing other people's art: I love analyzing various pieces and discussing them, and I'm consistently awestruck by the creativity I see both on and offline from various artists!!

I'm also a (very, very amateur) webmaster!! I started creating my Neocities site late last year, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I'm very proud of what I've managed to accomplish despite this, though!! I'm very passionate about working on my site and learning new stuff when it comes to website building, especially with the way most social media has gone these days.

That's a big part of the reason I decided to register for this forum, actually!! Melonland was one of the projects that inspired me to finally start crafting a website, and I think this forum is really cool from what I've seen lurking about!! Forums have always struck me as cool and nicer compared to social media (although my experience with them is limited), and I love that this place is all about creating and art and such!! I hope to learn a lot and just generally have a good time here ^w^
