so in the last few months ive been hard working writing lore for my book called starscape
my plans is going with a Tolkien route where i write a lot of my world
and then i write the story itself
i am going to go over a bit of the lore of the book

setting
billions of years ago there were a humanoid species
called the Avalon
they created an interstellar empire
using a pocket dimension called the starscape
that allows for ftl
unfortunately all things must come to an end
and in decades their empire
was crumbling
in an act of desperation they sent
interstellar ark that are also sentient artificial suns
to built new star systems
our sun was one of them and despite being
a rule for not creating non humanoid life the sun disobeyed
and she seeded the entire system with life
the story itself takes place in the year of 2057
where humanity along other species of sol like the Venusians
the hex and rattles created the united sol
that controls both the sol system and thousands of star systems

technology
despite being in an alternative far future
the technologies are pretty grounded
instead of replicators you have advanced 3d printers
instead of teleportation you have shuttles
and instead of holograms you have virtual worlds
and augmented reality
in term of space travel there are futuristic
propulsion methods like fusion antimatter
and even light sail
when people are colonizing star systems
they don't firstly land on the planet
but instead they create infrastructure around
the systems in moons and asteroids and then landing
on the habitable world

conclusion
so i dont have any idea how to finish it
soooooo please tell me what do you think?

i like the concepts you have here! here are some questions that i thought of that may be useful for fleshing things out (or not, i dont know what direction youre trying to go in, and i have no idea if youve thought about some of these already :P)

what goals would someone have in the world you built?
is there any conflict between different groups of people? like the humans and the venusians? if so, is it comparable to real world discrimination?
is there still a divide between the rich and the poor? how extreme is it?
do the planets being colonized have people already on them? if they do, how do they react to the people suddenly building things on their planet?
are there major cultural differences between different planets? if so, do they resemble real world cultures or have they developed something entirely unique?
how do people interact with the virtual world vs physical reality? is it normal to have completely separate virtual + physical lives, or are they so intertwined they may as well be the same?
what caused the original empire to crumble? were resources poorly managed? did a war cause massive damage? did they create the suns with the explicit instructions to not create human-like life to prevent their mistakes from being repeated?

thats all i can think of right now :ok: i hope you have fun developing your world/story!

also, the way you wrote your original post is very poetry-like to me with all of the line breaks, i think thats neat
