I used Debian for a while on Notebooks, and it can be indeed a bit tough.
I heavily recommend OpenSuse - it'll be easier on you ;).

Wait is that what causes static? I think I had a pair of earbuds like that a few years ago. My current pair of earbuds has lasted at least a year, which is honestly surprising especially as A) I always shove them into my purse with my iPod and B) I used to go through earbuds super quick. I've broken multiple pairs of earbuds by dancing too hard in my room (＃＞＜)

I managed to do both of these within about a week of each other. Am *I* cursed now? 

(For image ID sake: the first is a phone charger where the charging part IS MISSING. BECAUSE IT GOT STUCK IN MY PHONE AND I HAD TO YANK IT OUT??? HELLO??

And the second? One ear of my earbud headphones, *missing the speaker entirely*, which is sitting further up on my bed. HOW???)

Reminds me of that one time when i tried to open the cd slot on my computer, but then it didn't open, so i tried forcing it to open with windows explore (Right Click on the D: drive -> eject), and starts making some weird noises, and then shitted itself (it crashed).

then i realized that the hard drive was probably installed incorrectly because there was no... cd slot, It technically exists in the computer, just no slot to open it. (or should i say, give it fresh air).



Question. How fucked is my computer?
