New Pixel Clique: Chao Garden

Hi everyone!!

I wanted to share a new pixel clique/club that I just started—Chao Garden!

I’ve always loved pixel art, and I’m super inspired by all the cliques that have popped up over the years (both the ones still active today and the ones from way back). There are so many cool ones out there… but honestly? I want moooaarr!!

So, I made one based on my love for the adorable little Chao from Sonic! 💙
I put together templates for Hero, Dark, and Neutral forms, but seriously—please take all the creative freedom you want! Mix it up, have fun with it—I even made a PikaChao because why not? 😂

Anyway, I’d love to see what y’all come up with. Hopefully the Garden can grow!

Please do!! Someone had made a pink / heart Chao that’s so fitting for Valentine’s Day. I was thinking of making a shamrock themed one for St. Patrick’s day ☘️

Oml this is so cute. I'll have to make my evil daughter Martha at some point. She perished in The Great Crashing of my sister's wii. I think this would be a good way to revive her so she can resume her reign of terror.

I wish I had any kinda documentation of my lil babies from back in the day other than mems.
Please make Martha! Her legacy will live on forever

I definitely wanna join!! I still have to make my Chao and all that so I'll be a bit in regards to actually applying, but I just wanted to reply to this topic since I love the idea so much, and it would be my first pixel clique ever so I'm just excited.

My username comes directly from an old fan nickname for the Dark/Fly/Fly type Chao so I think it's apt. Would it be okay to make more than one sprite? I have a lot of ideas but I wouldn't ask for all of them to be listed.

You can absolutely make multiple Chao for the Garden!
I personally have 3 that I've added, so I don't see it as a problem.
It gives more options for others to choose to put on their sites
