i want to go to brick n mortar stores, i don't want to shop on amazon or temu or any of that. walmart, maybe. maaaaaybe. bookstores, better. thrift stores with stickers at checkout, even better (they have older / more unique ones). but i guess, i'm asking for more specificity. where do you guys go to get your stickers??

Here's a very specific answer that might not be appliable where you live: I used to get most of mine on TEDi, a store that carries a little bit of everything but has an art & crafts section for the DIY Pinterest mommies. I don't get stickers anymore because I have plenty of 'em already

But to broaden up that specific, look for arts & crafts stores and/or sections. They oughta have a spinning shelf with stickers somewhere.

Dollar stores & bazaars also tend to have stickers, especially the "bootleg" kind of them. Maybe you're not into them, and that's fine, but I think it's worth checking them out. You never know!

Mangacons are also a pretty good place to get stickers, especially if you're into big fandoms (tho I've been surprised a few times by the kind of fanmerch people make  :ozwomp: )

Finally, kind of a dumb recommendation out of nowhere, but if someone offers you free stickers, grab one of each kind they have!  :cheerR:

Unfortunately, not many shops do sell stickers these days. It depends on where you live, in a large town, or a small one. Where I live there is only the stationary shop selling stickers. Mostly I buy them from Temu or Fun Stickers, a UK online shop.

In the UK I very much recommend having a look in Pound Land (called Dealz here), I've had very good luck finding stickers there and they are very cheap (plus I'm very picky about stickers and their ones are good). I've found Amazon is quite bad for stickers unless you want big generic sheets for teachers etc.

There are also a few speciality sticker shops you can find online Supermini Sticker Club, B-Side Label etc - they are very expensive though. You can find B-Side Labels stickers in some very up market stationery shops (I found them in Glasgow) but I'd say they are kinda not worth the price!

Also I recommend buying cheap kids arts-crafts kits/toys that often come with stickers (it'll say on the box) they usually have some cool designs and you get some extra crappy stationery with them too (and maybe you know someone who would enjoy the toys without the stickers)

I try to see what I can get at thrift markets and such or make them myself. A lotta thrift markets will probably have drop-shipped stickers in mass but you can always find one or two gems in there, in my experience atleast  :ok:
Otherwise like I said, making them yourself can be pretty affordable if you have the patience ^_^
Kind regards, Atari @978.71

I've gotten quite a few from fairs and local events. Of course it's dependent on what's going on around you, so it's not like hopping down to the store, but it is something you can keep an eye out for as you're planning your month.

Local artist fairs or fairs that feature local artists are really good for these--I've gotten some really neat sticker sheets from those!

Check nearby gift shops for stickers. I visited one in a local city recently and they had pride stickers and silly/meme stickers in addition to the ones themed around local tourist attractions. In my experience these kinds of stickers are usually expensive though, like $3-$7 per single sticker- pretty steep for a small piece of paper, adhesive, and ink.

Try trading with your irl friends who also like stickers!!  :ozwomp: Or set up a penpal situation with someone you know online; you can trade that way too if you trust one another.  :mark:

Where I live, we have a big craft store I like to get my stickers from. They seem to be just about everywhere though! I recently went to a board game cafe with some friends, and they had a huge bin of them at the checkout counter! Everyone seems to love stickers in my city.

Like some other people in this thread, I also like to make my own. I've currently got a sizable stash of stickers made from pressed flowers. It's easy! You just take a sheet of baking parchment, lay down a layer of clear packing tape, space out whatever you want the sticks to be - be it little drawings you've made or pressed flowers or whatever other flat thing you've got - then layer on another layer of clear packing tape on top. Then cut out your stickers! When you're ready to use them, the parchment backing just peels right off, revealing the still-sticky packing tape.

Now, here's another answer that probably won't come up much: penpals! I've been sent more stickers from my couple penpals than I've bought for myself! In return, I've given stickers that were in my stash (handmade or otherwise), or other goodies like homemade paper, sticky notes, packets of tea, or whatever other cool little things I can stuff into an envelope.
