Disabled Artist enters the chat

Hi, nice to meet y'all! I'm CosmicRot, but most people just call me Rot. 

I'm a jack of all trades.. master in like.. 2 and a half??? at best??? I draw, make music, and SOOO many other things, because creating is my life! I'm disabled and spend most of my time at home since it's hard to make friends irl when you're constantly burnt out [and all your attempts they end up being bigots OOF....] so I instead focus on making things I think are cool and interacting online! One of those things is building my very own website which has been a WIP since 2016 haha, neocities since 2018 I think??, and now since spring or summer of 2024 I've been working on the current iteration of my site [hosted a version on both neocities and nekoweb yippee] and been working really hard on finding a cool middle ground between accessibility and fun!

Here lately I've been a bit all over the place and trying a ton of new things in an attempt to lead a happier, cooler, and better life, and one of those is trying to get back to things I enjoyed as a kid, and try to make and partake in communities that make me happy!
This place seemed like a super cool place to combine those two things!
So.. uh.. thanks for having me!

I also just wanna say I'm autistic and sometimes not the best at talking or wording things and people often assume I'm mad/annoyed or that I'm trying to mean or rude and I promise I'm really not  I try so so so hard to be kind and nice because I love talking to people, and I love making others happy too! but I always upset people in ways that refuse to elaborate on so it's very hard to get better and learn more how to interact "correctly" when they won't tell me :( so please if I do anything that's frustrating let me know! I want our interactions to be nice for all of us! and it also helps me grow as a person.

Quite interesting info you've told ! I see that your website has a very nice purple palette, I love that vibe ! I can also see that you"re talented at drawing... When did you start ? Do you have a goal or is it just an innocent hobby for passing time ?

Your stamp roll at the bottom of your website is nice, can I take some of these to add to my website ?

Oh gosh I know this reply is so old at this point but I didn't quite get how notifications or how to few unread replies at first until a few weeks ago (。﹏。) Entirely my fault for not being more in depth or actually manually checking back..

But thank you so much for your kind words. I started drawing back when I was a little kid, but only got serious about it when I was around 14?? [I'm about to turn 30 haha]. I eventually want to make a living off of my creations, but I just love art so I'll  keep doing it no matter what the future holds.

also yeah! They were all free to use [mostly from sheezy.art or found on other websites.. I should have been better about creator names/sites but some of them I found almost a decade ago] or made by me! The ones personally made by me are "Space Case", the sanji with the little heart, and the space dandy running :))
