in what context do you get most of your work done?, where do you have to be? what hour of the day? are you snacking on something? aside for being in the mood for it of course.

in about 14 months, i will be a NEET, which means i wont be going to school or having to work to live, so ill have alllll the time in the world to do whatever i want, when i want. i might even try this sleep cycle where im awake for 32 hours and sleep for 16. so i wont have any trouble finding the time to do things.

i will also be taking ritalin at this time, so i dont think i should be having trouble focusing.

A lot of my time being semi productive on the indieweb is a product of me being bored in school so from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m are the times where I most focus on coding and talking in forums

but when it comes to doing sillier stuff like playing videogames, watching YouTube, coding (again, I'm addicted to editing my site) and that sort of things I mostly do it during the weekends, more specifically in the evening so somewhere between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

in terms of the settings (aside from school as I mentioned before) I'm mostly either on my bedroom (pros: cozy temperature my room is always cold for some reason, really pretty and colorful cons: really small bed, kinda messy) or the guest's bedroom (pros: there's a TV I use for background noise, big and comfy bed cons: less cozy than my bedroom)

My sleep schedule tends to be all over the place, but I'm usually the most active from 3-10 PM at the very least. Sometimes I'm able to get myself to go to sleep earlier and have a few days where my hours are normal, but for some reason my body like to default to waking up at 3 PM and I don't know why.

I'm also unemployed atm, so all my computering is done at home, in either my bedroom or my living room.

like a lot of folks these days, i'm trying to be slower and more mindful with my internet activity. that looks not only like cutting down my doomscrolling, but coming to places like this where a lot of the communication is more asynchronous. i pop into melonland intermittently, not really with a set amount of time in mind. check out some threads, maybe reply to some stuff. it's chill.

as for work outside of yapping on the forums, like my writing and music and other freelancing endeavours, i think being intentional is the key. i use a paper agenda and productivity trackers to figure out what my priorities are and try to plan them in advance. i get work done in smallish bursts, maybe between 30 and 60 minutes of being locked in on a project at a time.
