Game jams are fun!

Just made a minecraft skin for a character (Bob) I made for a game jam a while back
He brought back a couple memories that I thought would be fun to share with you guys   
The idea was that you would have to help Bob afford a new car, which is how we got the game name: "Bob's new car".  
We thought it was a really cool idea at the time and rolled with it      
The whole premise is that you do a bunch of Warioware like minigames, such as that ball game funfairs have (where you toss balls at cans on a table), or just plain stealing a diamond from the bank.

Now I participated in this game jam as a pixel artist (and joined halfway through the jam), but I got to meet some really amazing people along the way! Yes sadly we did not have time to do everything we had wanted to (developer stereotype I know), but we kind of had overscoped the whole project a bit (notably the transitions and number of minigames). Despite this I think it turned out great
What funny ideas/characters have you come up with during a game jam or just in general
PS. You should definitely try joining a game jam of some sort if you haven't. it really is fun and totally worth it

I used to do game jam stuff, but got burned out on it. I still have the old projects left up on my itchio, though.

Also, I really like the bob sprite! Very clean and well animated.

did heavily base it on some mario animation i found    (kinda shameful abt it tbh  )
  did it mainly as a time saver, as I really had to crunch to get the art done - joined the team on like the second day of the jam 
 I did make some original renditions though, of the character in the end E:

Game jams really are so much fun! They really push me to actually make a somewhat complete game 

My favorite one I've done, was "A Witch's Familiars". It's a platformer where you play as a witch, and have to go around and collect up all of these black cats in a ghost infested forest. I'd like to go back to the game sometime, and revamp it. Add some powerups, and such
