Hey Guys!

I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed lately with all of the *gestures wildly to everything* going on at the moment so I wanted to take that energy and put it into something positive! If you've gotten any good news or had something good happen to you lately I wana hear it!

To get started, I've had a myriad of health problems for years now, but my most recent doctors visit showed that I am finally improving! There is a light at the end of the tunnel that I forgot was there, I hope ya'll see it too.

Heya! I'm glad to hear your good news! For me, I have to apply for an internship for my summer term, and a company decided to give me an offer, I wasn't expecting I'd get a job this quickly!

Also, I have been working out lately. It feels like a yearly thing as I am only able to find time during summer, but it is still a good thing to train my muscles a bit!

Aaah thats so great, congrats! I'm sure that is a relief. And I feel ya on working out- making the time for it can be so hard, I'm only doing some biking atm but I gotta say even this small amount is helping my mood a lot.

I had a laptop for a while that I was given for some time in order to save up for a new one. I got gifted a slightly older laptop yesterday ! I was ready to pay but I was told not to pay ! I now have my own computer with Linux on it, I'm really excited 

It really made me happy

  I got my first androgynous hair cut after wanting one for years. I was kind of unsure at first but it really grew on me.:3

I got a job that I have been wanting for awhile now. It's only part time so I'll be juggling this and my lame retail job BUT!! this is such a huge step in the right direction for my future :3

I'm still in the very early stages of learning to drive, but I'm making progress really quickly. Today, I drove about 3 miles (about 4.8 km) to the gas station!! It was my first time going more than like a quarter mile (0.4 km) from home.

In addition, my academic stuff is actually doing really well. Over the past month or so, I brought my math grade from a D- to a B-. I've also been exempted from one of my finals for this year, which is great news.

Last but certainly not least, I'll be able to get a job this summer! If I can find a place that will hire me full-time, I'll probably make about $400 a week before tax. That means that this summer, I'll be able to buy a fursuit head! I've already got a maker in mind and contacted them about custom colors, and I'm really excited.

Hope everyone else's life is going just as well, despite everything.

Hooray!! I've got my new hearing aids at last! It's taken a while, and I was beginning to think it wouldn't happen, but I had an appointment at our local hospital yesterday. It's quite a faff. The nurse technician had to calibrate them especially for me. And I can control them via my mobile phone with bluetooth and a free app. We're living in the future! When I left the hospital and was walking down Penglais Hill into town, I thought well, I couldn't tell the difference. And then I realised I was hearing birds in the trees right across the road and behind the houses.

The nurse technician told me they are around £1,000 each, but I got them free on the NHS, and all the batteries and kit. Amazing. Anyway, that's my bit of good news!

After almost an entire year in a creative slump stemming from anxiety i have finally started drawing again. After months of feeling completely out of it doing nothing even remotely creative or positive in my life. But A week ago the joy of creation came back I even felt confident enough to put my art online again and work on my website. I'm also thinking about giving therapy another try because i think it might genuinely be worth a shot again considering where my life was/still kind of stil is.

Someone in our local neighborhood left a cat tower on our lawn. I see it as a kind gesture because we are known for having some cats in our house. It looks in really great shape too. I just have to brush it off,vacuum it,and give it some further spot shine for my cats. It's going to take some time for my cats to break away though because my cats can't resist it. They're already claiming it.

@Indigo awww that's nice of them to leave the cat tower 4 u!!!    i remember when my cats acted the same way when we got a new cat tower 4 them, n next thing we knew, all of them were lounging about on the tower!!!!


as for me, I finally cleaned my room!! that means a lot to me!! <- was really depressed for the last 7 years = room became the equivalent of a dumpsite... But now it looks a lot better n organised!!
oh and I also got posted to the vocational school of my choice!!!!I'm going to an art course 4 animation and game art 4 the next 3 years!!! yayyy!!!!!!!!!

Congrats @sunnymachinery    That sounds like so many exciting avenues and skills you are able to pursue. Take your time to learn new skills but remember to take breaks in between so you don't get overwhelmed.

And yeah I totally get when you haven't cleaned in awhile after a depressive episode. It feels so amazingly rewarding once you get out of it and begin again. I keep that feeling with me.
