What is your favourite piece of lost media/One you want found the most?

Pretty niche lost media here:

There was this animatronic resturant in competition with chuck e cheese back in the day called "Showbiz pizza". The company that made the animatronics/owned the characters made a clown animatronic to greet guests at conventions related to robots/entertainment. 

Not much is know about it, not even it's name. So I guess the lost media comes in the form of lack of video/audio of this guy, we only have photos of it's existence, not even it's voice actor is known.

A lot of old animatronics nowadays have been destroyed or simply left to rot in some guys basement, so it's not likely we can just find this guy and turn him on.

when it comes to one that's more likely to exist, the encarnacion bechaves commercial! i'm so curious to see if it's actually as scary as people remember it being

This is a silly one, but there is apparently a song that was recorded and never released called "I Admit there was Music" which was performed by Carly Rae Jepsen and written, partially, by Chad Kroeger of Nickleback. I can't even imagine what it must sound like.

i once found a VHS tape of 2 hello kitty OVAs, titled "hello kitty cinderella" and "hello kitty heidi". they were part of a series of OVAs sanrio made of classic fairy tales featuring their characters. the only other one i remember that i want to watch somehow is "kiki and lala and the blue bird" (kiki and lala being the little twin stars). man, i wish i kept that tape... but it also seemed to be on its last legs. if i can ever find these OVAs again, i would be overjoyed

I'm hoping that one day Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis will appear in a playable state. We do have footage of playthroughs online, at least. There's even a fan translation on YouTube. It is a prequel to FFVII, running around-ish the same time as Crisis Core. Unfortunately, outside of a remake this probably won't happen, as it was a cell phone game.

When Night in the Woods was being funded on Kickstarter back in 2014, some of the backing tiers had rewards such as your initials in the game, a background character based on you, a handmade zine, and/or access to animated shorts.

The zine was released and sent to those who pledged $50, but no copies ever ended up online and this thread by Scott Benson, the game's creator, contains the only images I could find of the contents.

As for the animated shorts, they were intended to be released sometime after they were all produced, but they were never finished and never released. At least one was completed as this steam community post confirms some Kickstarter backers did get to see it. This screenshot of the short was also linked in the post.

It would be nice if a backer uploaded their copy of the zine or if the first short was published, it's been more than six years since the game released and almost nine years since the Kickstarter.

oh hey wouldn't you know that the entire zine was uploaded to the internet archive and u/ManedCalico on reddit uploaded the short and some wallpapers!

glad to see that these have been recovered :) i'd love to see if any progress was made on the other shorts, but i doubt information on these will be released now.

Replying to this thread again because I didn't have one before but there's one i'm obsessed with now. And that's the Rhythm Heaven music visualizer program.

It's been partially found (people have got it working in virtualbox) but I have been throwing everything I have at getting it to work on a more modern version of WACUP or windows media player.

If anyone wants to help me on this one please lmk. There's a bit of code involved that i don't necessarily understand too well

The original, playable map file(s) for the SIGGRAPH 2000 demo for HL2. Now THAT would be a gold find.
(yes I know that valve released the footage and there are remakes but it would be pretty cool to play the beta test levels)

other than that there's a million billion online games i saw at the time but never got to play and now they're gone T_T either because they were website-only or the assets just never got archived. GoPets and Faunasphere are the ones that I always think about... the internet is so frustratingly ephemeral sometimes
theres a quantity of people mentioning saki sanobashi which admittedly confuses me. if its fake (i also believe that poor reddit guy made it up) then theres nothing to Find is there...?
