i didn't see a general thread for fursuits/fursuit makers here so i thought i'd make my own

i recently started making my first head using a balaclava base and tbh i think i prefer it over the bucket head method even though it's definitely easier. bucket heads always feel a little too big for my taste and more like i'm wearing a mascot costume as opposed to embodying the character HAHA

i only have one head that an ex-friend made for me ( that is sadly no longer accurate to my fursona's head shape ) but i adore it nonetheless!! ive wanted to make my own suit heads for awhile but i do not have the space nor the funds to get really involved... and i have shaky-ass hands so i fear i would injure myself in the various ways one can while fursuit making LOL.. regardless i love seeing fursuit work < 33 it's so inspiring to me. here's a photo of me wearing the head:

it's kind of falling apart from age ( i believe it was made in... 2018? ) and it was my ex-friend's first suit head ( i was a guinea pig since my sona is so simple ) so there's a lot of frayed glue edges ahhhh id love to get it refurbed to match my current sona's head but i think atp id rather make a new suit xD
i've worn them ONCE in public to a furcon in my city a couple years ago and got a lot of compliments saying i was cute though so. i had a great time hehe
