I made a printable zine about a tiny sun!

Hi friends!

Having a toddler makes it difficult for me to finish large-scale creative projects, and so I have been exploring the world of zines. This week I finished my first printable zine - Tiny Sun!

It's a collection of loosely related illustrations, with a poem written by my wife on the reverse side. In the past I'd have tried to draw a full-fat comic about this character, but for now I'm happy having created something that captures a specific mood.

Note:The A4-ish printout has the main contents of the zine in 8.5x11, and the full-page poster for the backside as A4. This essentially ensures the image runs to the edge of the page after trimming the zine!

Waaaa, look at that tiny sun   

This is great, the illustrations are cute but moody, if you found yourself wanting to expand this out into a short kids story book (or an interactive webpage) I think it would be wonderful and hold up really well! There are all sorts of situations a tiny sun could find themself in!

oh, I love the idea of an interactive webpage! I'll certainly think about that...

Tiny Sun is currently my toddler's favourite character (competing with Cinderella), so I'm sure I'll want to expand upon it for him!

You're very welcome! Thank you in kind as well- Falcon/Sir Handel's my absolute favorite of all the narrow gauge guys, so I just had to use him as my little avatar.
