Morrowind Page – Fan Art & Linguistic Exploration

I've created a fan page, a web shrine of sorts, for one of my favourite computer games of all time: The Elder Scrolls III – Morrowind!



Here you can find advice for new players, fan art, explorations of the Dunmeri language, resources, and links to other people's cool TES-projects! Leave a comment in the chat box, if you like, and let me know if you'd be interested in creating a 'Dunmer Art and Poetry' forum or something similar with me! : D

Oh, and if you want to get rid of the cliffracer, you have to refresh the site. Let me know if you know javascript and want to help me eradicate the winged menace. : P

Uh oh, the link's giving me an error 500. Hope it can be fixed soon! I'm embarrassed to say I've never been an Elder Scrolls player, but I'm fascinated by the love and dedication of fansites in general, so I really wanted to take a look and admire your work!

Thank you for letting me know! I also noticed that since my last website update I've had two different error messages: Once the website just "couldn't be loaded" and once firefox detected a "security risk" and refused to show me the page. Unfortunately I have no idea what I'm doing. : / When I tried again later, it worked. Also, I had the same error when visiting someone else's neocities page, so I was kind of hoping it wasn't my mistake.

Elements I put on my page that I didn't create myself are a Melon Land Guild Webring Widget, a Chat-Box iframe, and two webfonts I converted with fontsquirrel.com ...

The console doesn't show any errors to me while the page is loaded. I could remove individual elements to test if that fixes it, but since most of the time the website is working for me, it would be difficult to judge whether the problem has been fixed.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know ... : /

I've been a huge Morrowind fan since I played it first on the original XBox, and it's one of the things (along with the Myst series) that kickstarted my worldbuilding hobby. I love this shrine! I did not know that there had been a fan project to put together a dictionary for Dunmeri, and I've gone and saved that page from the fandom wiki for later perusal  Loved seeing your translation!

I had the same error when visiting someone else's neocities page, so I was kind of hoping it wasn't my mistake.

So, it seems there are a bunch of people experiencing the same problem. I'm kind of relieved it seems not to be my fault, but that also means I can't fix it, i guess... does anyone know what's wrong with neocities (or whether the error has already been fixed)?

Oh man, this is awesome! Morrowind is probably my all-time favorite game, this page is very cool

I was just talking about Morrowind with some ppl in Onio Club, specifically how it's very easy to "cheese" if you really understand how the RPG system works, bc of the level of player freedom present. Among many other things, I really love how this game really has no skill ceiling, the better you understand it the more you can crack it open and have your own adventure. Idk if there another sandbox RPG that really gives me that feeling, from Bethesda or otherwise

I think you're 100% right about the graphics thing btw, I feel like that low-poly look really requires good art direction to pull off, since you can't rely on RTX On AAA Graphics(TM) to sell it. Morrowind's atmosphere isn't really like anything else I've played, even surreal modern indie games don't have *quite* the exact same vibe (no shade to modern indies ofc, they just have a completely different vibe, partly due to just running on more modern graphics engines and bc the avant-garde aesthetics of our day are ofc a bit different from the 90s lol)
