hi everyone!!! so in an attempt to make more zines, i decided to start a weekly zine jam if anyone wants to join me :]

i feel like zines are very much on par with old web and current theme (this week's theme) is internet! here you can see how to fold a zine!

Does your zine have to be crafted physically? I have a zine maker program downloaded and it's honestly a lot easier for me to make digital zines over all.

ofc it can be! ^^ this was just an example; i seriously didn't think about digital zines. it was simply ignorance on my part. feel free to play around with formatting, make it digitally, whatever!

and themes roll over on mondays, so, today's thursday... so until monday! i sketched out mine, still have to line it and all...

hiya, i'm new here! haven't been able to bring myself to do a forum introduction yet    but here's my take on last week's Scissors theme: ties & tangles

I'm trying to get comfortable with making imperfect art, and had a lot of fun just flying by the seat of my pants for this one.

This one hits a cynical-yet-poignant spot for me in a way I am having trouble articulating 

Off-topic but organizing my page's art wing is getting stressful (promised myself I wouldn't look too hard at that until I've had the chance to fully evaluate and understand all my options, lol  )

Hope it's not too late to share this! I made a collage-style zine (through alienmelon's Electric Zine Maker) about my relationship with the internet and how its progressed into our current hellscape. It's very personal to me and I hope I did a good job expressing myself through mashing PNGs together.

just checked your zine out, i absolutely LOVED it!!! also interesting platform! (my dad used to be obsessed with Zeen which i think is similar to this except it was much bulkier and more annoying haha). your sense of aesthetics is so beautiful!!!

i completely understand how you feel... i feel very similarly (born in 1997, grew up with dad who was in IT), and I likewise wished for everything to take place on the internet. now i wonder the same thing as you do.
