now let's get into it! today's (august 5th 2026) song of the day is:

Metall by Eisbrecher (2012)

i discovered this song a few years ago and it caught my interest IMMEDIATELY. the energy is so infectious and intense, just what i look for in a song! and not to mention i love songs sung in languages other than english, and german fits metal so well with how in-your-face it sounds. such a 10/10 song, in my opinion!!

Dana-Dan by Bloodywood (2022)

my FAVE song by bloodywood, had to share it. indian folk metal RULES!!! i highly rec listening to the full album this is from, Rakshak! it's SO EPIC and has so much infectious energy it's hard to stop listening!!!

such a fucking jam. found through chainsaw man obviously but holy shit it's such a banger!! not to mention the music video is also so choice. i super love this song < 33

aug 8th 2026's song of the day is:

Eyes of a Stranger by Queensryche (1988)

this album tells a pretty compelling story, i would recommend looking it up ( tw for cult depictions )!! the whole story is on wikipedia. it's also just a banger album from start to finish imo, and this one's my favorite off of it ( it's called operation: mindcrime )!! i should listen to their other albums...
