personal website - mae's HATsite

[maecom]

sup. been forever - 4 years?? -
seen the surf club update in my neocities feed and realized just how much the forum has changed...

regardless, even if i had been active i wouldnt have shown it till now, but check it out, it's mae's HATsite!

... well the site's been around since 2020 at least, but one thing you should know about me is that i have a big habit of redoing things from scratch, this being the fourth time i do it with the site, entirely new layout, new pages, new everything lol

i am still working on some stuff like a re-do of my mega man battle network shrine, but about 90% of the site is fully explorable. considering adding some stuff like a webgarden or other lists, unsure really. for now there's stuff like a media catalog, or an archive with how the site used to look!

i do hope to be more active on the forum but to be honest, no promises from my end, i tend to be inactive in forums.

from now on, i'd like to use this thread as a sort of journal for the hatsite's progress.
some things have changed since this re-release, the most important being that the site has partial mobile support.

it is by no means perfect and it has some issues, but now the site when opened in lower resolutions will allow you to toggle off the navbar, allowing for easier navigation.

i hope to find a better solution in the future as the site is still too big for some screens, however it is now useable and that is what matters to me for the time being.

Lovely! :-) Good luck with your site

thank you very much! working on this site has been pretty fun to do, keeping me busy for a while and all, hope that i can make it as great as it can be.

as for other news, the site has been getting small updates since ive made the first post, i am still intending to write a blog on this year's SAGE, having written down notes for most of the games i've played. this update is small but it changes some text and all.

hoping to get bigger updates done soon enough.

on today's edition of what is mae working on...

working on a little thing based on badgraph1csghost's 15 Essential Games pages, basically me recommending games for different consoles, although my list aims to go for some slightly more obscure stuff. - emphasis on slightly many games i like are popular and will be on the lists :V -

been having to go back to many of these games for recommendations, still working on lists for other consoles too!
writing reviews for tons of games is fun to do really, hope to have at least pages for a few consoles done.

will be accepting recommendations from others too, see what games i can find and maybe add to the lists, working on stuff for the NES, GBA, Super Nintendo, but aiming to go for consoles like the PSP or even the Neo Geo Pocket!
