I have never been in a public minecraft server yet, and didn't knew that melonland have one till I saw this post. Will be considering to join it once I feel a little bored. Anyways I hope I can build something special there! If I join..

For this particular server, it runs in offline mode so you don't need a minecraft account to play, you just need a copy of the 1.5.2 game files. If you have a friend with mc I suggest you install Prism on your computer, get them to login and download the game files, then they can remove their account and you can keep playing with an offline account.

(in this case offline does not mean playing the game offline, it means not using an official account to play - you connect to our server using your melonland account instead )

UPDATE: i cant play on 1.5.2 AT ALL. the game crashes as soon as i try to open it:

UPDATE: i cant play on 1.5.2 AT ALL. the game crashes as soon as i try to open it:

i've had this problem before when playing from the official launcher. for some reason deleting options.txt from your .minecraft folder fixes it! however, nowadays i just create an instance for 1.5.2 on multimc and play on that instead, no crashes or anything!
