The video has this story about these rebels on New Years 2000 breaking into the Messiah TV compund to stop Project Thunderdome, which will thrust the world into 3d virtual worlds in a fascist takeover. They break in, and the compound and their satellites are alerted to their presence, so they unleash the
Swarmcam, their satellite-enabled surveillance system to spot them. The guards attack them, and we also see the station's broadcasting of
subliminal messages in a very seizure warning kinda scene. And then there are these girls that show up on the TVs saying "see me hear me feel me love me touch meeeee" beckoning for you to put on your datasuit and join them in
cyberspace. Then theres a clip from some 80s anime where a water girl kisses this guy and then it zooms out super fast from this girl into space and its trippy. Then there are the girls still beckoning you to come see them.
Spoiler
and then... something im not allowed to describe in this forum. Just know, I think it kills the vibe a bit and I would've not put those in there if i was the editor. Im talking about the USA version of the music video specifically. If you want something a little safer for work, there are 2 cuts of the music video for the EU market, and I do have them both; one is on Facebook and the other (more common) one is on Youtube and aired on MTV PartyZone, but the facebook one is more interesting.
Anyways, we see the guards take out the rebels with tazers, and then theres an 80s punk looking video segment called "APPROPRIATION" and it has snippets of skateboarding, the sex pistols, political figures in B&W, pop art, and whatever else, and then a bunch of hindu imagery and some trippy invert effects, and it shows "199x, Tokyo" and then we see the TVs flash imagery of pretty canyons and a countdown to New Years Eve, and when it hits zero, that girl hits the high note and it sucks into the cyberworld. The rebels are knocked out on the pavement, and it says "PROJECT THUNDERDOME MISSION ABORT" meaning they've failed, and Y2K is coming. It ends with them unplugging the satellite and a clip of a guy talking about the
shockwave of eschatology, and the end of time resetting the world.
