32-bit cafe's spring 2023 event

hi all! if you're not on our discord (the 18+ 32-bit cafe), we're having a seasonal event that anyone can participate in. the deadline to submit your webpage is march 21, 2023, so you have plenty of time if you want to jump in! you get a fun 88x31 badge for participating. :)

the idea is to have a webpage on our sites dedicated to something spring related. it could be your favorite spring recipes, flora and fauna around your town, or just a shrine dedicated to your favorite spring activities! you can have a pixel adoptable or just photos of flowers; it's totally up to you!

perhaps a bit of a silly question, but are mushrooms considered "spring related" ? I live on a place with very unconventional weather patterns and also very humid so we have mushrooms all year long but maybe it is different and not considered spring-y for others

should i wait until my page is totally finished before i submit or is it okay to send works in progress? i had the idea to make a pollinator garden collage out of photos i've taken of flowers and bugs this spring, but the bugs aren't really out yet in my area. i'll probably be adding to the page right up until the deadline (and a little after, if that's okay?)

you can go ahead and submit a work in progress if it'll be finished by the 21st! the list of participants will be "revealed" on the 21st, so as long as it looks the way you want to by then, feel free! :)

don't forget, you get an adorable 88x31 for participating and join a link roll for your site. you'll be able to submit your page by 11:59 a.m. pdt on march 21st!

edit: i went a bit wilder with the bugs than i'd originally planned. they are jumpin' all around, so proceed with caution if you're not into that!
