Since I needed somewhere to share this picture, I figured id make a thread for it - feel free to post random pictures from your life here!


These are my tie-dye curtains! They are kinda high contrast in this picture, but I think they will fade nicely over the next few weeks! I'm also gonna get a bright orange rug to contrast them and I think that will be a nice 70s theme mix 
Also here is the dying process in progress - the curtains were really old and stained, so I was gonna throw them out anyway if this didn't work, but I think it's pretty cool!

These are really pretty cool-looking curtains! I love this dying technique and what you can do with it. Reminds me of when we did t-shirts like that back in summer camp.
I'll take that opportunity to throw in something as well. I've found an isopod wandering around at home about 1-2 weeks a go and decided to put it into my closed terrarium. He got rid of his old sheel now. (I actually was completely unaware they molt LOL)

Oh I could name him. I wasn't thinking about that before until now.

melon those curtains are GORGEOUS. blue and orange is an underrated combo that you should definitely go for

That is a very creative way to save stained curtains!

I guess I have to add something of my own now..  hmm..  I'll share this afghan I've been crocheting with a pattern from the late 60s or early 70s--



--and allow myself to be completely predictable again with these tapes I got from ebay.



(Try not to mind my weird and irregularly grooved carpet, by the way-- most of my room is bare floor since I got rid of my bed and replaced it with a shikibuton.  ..The lack of space I had to do certain tasks got irritating.)

@dotmidi and if you wanted to see, here's the time the groomer shaved her nearly completely bald and i almost cried with laughter because she looked like a complete other creature and i hardly recognized her.
