What Anime are You Currently Watching?

I thought it would be fun to have a thread talk about whatever anime we're currently watching as not only is it fun to share and talk about what we're watching but I think it's a nice way to find something new you might be interested in as well!

What have you been watching lately?

Currently, I'm watching Yes Precure 5 and Hirogaru Sky Precure.

Last night I started Another! I'm watching it dubbed since my attention span for subbed things has greatly decreased during the pandemic lmao. I think it's one of those animes that you'll like only if you suspend your disbelief, because it does get a bit silly (at least what I've watched so far), but I think I'll have fun with it.

And I'm always watching pokemon. XY season is up on pokemon tv so I'm going through that, and also about to start the second to last season. Simultaneously, yes, I stopped caring a while ago and now my tv time profile is a mess lol

Just Hirogaru Sky Precure at the moment. The cast are pretty fun, Sora is my favourite main Cure out of the series I've seen. The pacing is a lot slower compared to other Pretty Cure shows, but not in a bad way.

Recently started one piece because of a friend's recommendation, I also have been meaning to (and will probably start tonight) watch Demon Slayer

I'm currently working my way through Sailor Moon Crystal. I started season 3 about a month ago and I'm slowly working my way through an episode or two every week.

finished watching Nightwalker: Midnight Detective for research purposes now I´ve moved on to Vampire Princess Miyu just to compare the two.

Both anime have similar themes, while being stylistic different. Both have vampire protagonists fighting the Monster of the week and have a certain bittersweet tone to them.

finally decided to watch Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood after putting it off for years

Started watching Revue Starlight tonight. Boy! That is some symbolism laden anime. I'm a big Princess Tutu fan and.... to be perfectly honest it really gives me those vibes so far. Not that I'm far yet. But the two episodes I've watched were quite good.

Finished Nightwalker now I´m watching Trigun (both the new one and the 98 version) they seemed to have a different vibe but both are great in their own way

The last anime I watched was Ooku: The Inner Chamber. I was there for the role reversal and femdom, but stayed for the palace intrigue and ties to actual history.

I recently finished watching the Madoka Magicia movies and I'm currently making my way through Chainsaw Man. After that I'm planning  to rewatch Soul Eater with my boyfriend who hasn't seen it yet. I'm waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 to finish airing before I watch it.

i rly don't watch anime that much (or ANY tv shows for that matter) but i started watching Cowboy Beebop lately! only on episode 6 so far but im liking it a lot!

I'm currently working up the nerve to fire up season two of Bastard!!. The first season was wall-to-wall shonen cringe (and it knew it) and I suspect that the next will be much worse.
