Your favourite pet that isn't yours

My favourite pet that isn't mine is my neighbours cat Boo! He's very friendly and always jumps over the fence when he hears me open the backdoor and comes over for a pet.

Who's yours and why?

not sure if this counts since she's more of a stray, but I'm working at a crop research station this summer and we have a resident farm cat who sleeps in a barn and keeps mice out of the greenhouses! she's very sweet, one of the staff takes care of her and named her Walter. she likes to meow at me when I arrive in the morning but will only let me pet her if I offer her treats hehe.


I also enjoy twitter/tumblr user Little Tunny's cat Breakfast Sandwich! they've been sharing pictures of him since he was born and it's been very cute seeing him grow up~

ryo! my best friend's dog that i dogsit a lot. he's such a cute, sweet guy and his past is very sad so he has some trauma left over from that, which can affect how you interact with him. he can also be reactive, but i'm trying to help train him out of that. but i love to spoil him :)

my friend's german shepherd, Isaac :) the saddest little daddy's boy. he begrudgingly accepts pats from humans who are not his dad, but his preference is clear. note the bunny ears!

My neighbours have a cat that likes to visit other peoples houses. Her name is Sushi. Here she is in my bed!

I have not seen her in a while. My dad likes to give her tiny scraps of food.

I've got large amounts of fondness for all of my friends' pets, but especially my friend Monk's 2 cats Chen and Onyx. I've not seen many pictures of them, but that's ok. I still love them.

One of my neighbors (I don't know who) has a big gray cat that will come running to me for a petting whenever I'm outside. He won't stay still long enough to be photographed, though. Not sure what his name is, so I just call him "Mr. Kitty".

Not sure what his name is, so I just call him "Mr. Kitty". He might not even be anybody's cat, but he's pretty friendly for a stray and probably too friendly to be feral.

she was adopted from a cat cafe because she was a big trouble maker and everyday i hear about whatever little antics she's up to :-)

I don't have pictures right now, but two cats in my neighborhood. We have a lot of them roaming around here and it's a community effort letting them in and out of the apartment complex and shared garden

One is tricolored, and I haven't given them a name yet; but I regard them as my lucky cat. Whenever I feel down or insecure, they are there and run up to me wanting to be pet. I know which apartment opposite of my balcony they live in.
The other one is an orange cat and her name is actually Tima and she lives in the floor above me in the apartment complex, but I've given her the nickname Braincell, referencing the OneOrangeBraincell subreddit.
Braincell sometimes comes to visit me in my home. Since we share the stairwell and she can freely go in and out with the people coming and leaving, she sometimes sits in front of my door meowing until I open and let her in. I lock my dog away before that and leave the door open so she can leave whenever she wants. My apartment is cat-and-dog-proof and there is nothing toxic or dangerous around, so that's ok, and I always supervise her.

Braincell actually wants to be friends with my dog really really badly, but my dog rejects her all the time and is very mean. It's a little heartbreaking to see. So Braincell loves him from afar

my roommate's big fat black fluffy cat named artemis. he's very skittish and neurotic but he trusts me and will spend time cuddling with me and letting me pet him and it's so sweet.

my bf's tarantula, micheal myers!! he doesn't really like being held, probably because he is a spider, but i adore him from a distance :3
