They were my favourite surprise discovery last year I don't wanna call them a 90s-wannabe band, they are very much a 2020s band, but it's sorta like an alternative 2020s that's fused with the best of 90s indie rock - they're great!

I know right? The whole album is really good, but that's my favourite song. I was also really surprised it's from 2002! The album has a really up-to-date 2020s indie-rock atmosphere

Wow! I've been going through a lot of the songs here and there's really some amazing stuff. This one is so good! I found some time to listen to the Loudon Wainwright III original and it's a different take but also amazing. This song takes me back to summer camp and trips and really hits home as I used to teach swimming. Incredible music.

This was another favorite. I'm a huge Jackson Browne fan and Joan Baez too and the storytelling in this is just phenomenal. Gives me that feeling of sorrow but also hope. 10/10, thanks Melon!

I found some time to listen to the Loudon Wainwright III original and it's a different take but also amazing.

I was so torn about posting the Loudon version or this one; they are both really good in different ways as you say! I think it depends on my mood; I always felt like the summer in this song could be an analogy for life, you can let it drag you down or you can swim 

Jackson Browne fan and Joan Baez too and the storytelling in this is just phenomenal

I had no idea that was a cover of a Jackson Browne song! - Listening too it now! - Its that feeling of acceptance and movement even with the bittersweet loss of fading love - Im a sucker for that atmosphere.
