Hello, everyone! My name is Avery and this is the first forum post I have  ever  made. I’m really glad I found this place, I love exploring the internet and the feeling of being in a virtual space more than anything else. There’s so much to learn about everything here! I also love the casual nature and appreciation of the ‘imperfect’.

I’m a fan of Yugioh, drawing, 3D modeling, parrots, and my cats.  :omg:

My site is very, very new and I definitely missed the mark on ‘old web’, but you can still check it out at: https://strayland.neocities.org/

Welcome aboard!
I really like the way you've made that index of your site, although it seems to be a bit slow
fully to load through Tor or a slow connection (though i can still see the next-to-be content).
Hope you'll have a good time here.

EDIT 1 :

Oh yeah, boy it's some large images, more than 2mb for one pane, it's almost scary.
Be careful with the size of your images, think of the child- of people with a limited mobile
connection.

Thank you so much for pointing this out, I let my file sizes get out of control :ohdear: . I tried loading it on my phone after you mentioned that and ouch... I really appreciate the guidance. I've got a lot to learn!

Also, your art is incredible, wow.

I use Maya to model and Unreal Engine for shading! I see you use Unity and Blender, so we must be rivals  :eyes:. I like to model props and environments. What about you?

Hello fellow drawer!! I also like nature and “imperfect” things. We have too much of symmetry today :ohdear:
And nature keeps us from going insane, even if we don’t notice that on daily basis.

Your page’s looking cool!
I’m definitely stealing borrowing that crt effect you have  :eyes:

I agree!!!!!!! I didn't realize how true that is until I didn't put my desk next to a window one time. I felt like I was in a cell or something... It's funny how even the sight of a single leaf outside can be so soothing.

I’m definitely stealing borrowing that crt effect you have  :eyes:

Please do! I certainly did the same thing. CRTs are so satisfying, I have a CRT TV and I can't play my Gamecube on anything else now, lol.
